See up to date logistics Cape2Cape Logistics 2020

Race 6 long course kicks off at Cape Cleveland and finishes at Cape Pallarenda. Sealink QLD are putting on a specific trip in order to get us out to cape Cleveland for this race. We have arranged a Military Barge to transport paddle craft to Cape Cleveland, allowing us to facilitate more competitors.

Paddlers will need to load their craft on to the trailers that will be loaded onto the Military Barge. Paddlers should supply their own straps (labelled) and padding if required.

All paddlers must be at the Sealink Ferry Terminal Sunday 13th by 7am for a 7:15am departure. When we arrive at Cape Cleveland we will spend some time chilling out while we wait for the wind to pick up so be prepared for a little wait. Start time TBA.

Bring a small bag and some snacks and you will be able to raid the NQOPS picnic basket! Bags will be returned to Cape Pallarenda with the water safety boats. It is highly recommended that you use a waterproof bag as these bags could get wet.

The briefing will be held at Cape Cleveland.
No responsibility will be taken for damage to the craft, must load and travel with your ski/ outrigger at own risk. It is a good idea to bring pool noodles as padding for your craft to protect it during travel.

Due to the new arrangements with the Military Barge it is now possible to fit an OC6. If you are interested in this please contact Joel 0447496489 ASAP.
